Charles Lipenga | Founder & CEO, Alexander DC Mtambo | Executive Secretary, Bright J. Chidzumeni | Leadership & Entreprenuership Director, Dennis Imaan | Media & Innovation Director.                               OUR STORY” Kicked off in 2014, as a group of inspired and purposeful youths called Maestros, who seek to bring change to the mindset of everyone. We seek to make a Maestro of every person. The word, "Maestro" is a noun, which means "a great or distinguished figure in any sphere." You can also refer a Maestro as a master, expert, genius, prodigy; ace, whiz, or pro. We believe in developing people who will become "Maestros" in their professional fields or their areas of passion.

Charles Lipenga - CEO

An Award-winning Architect from Malawi with 7 years in Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy. The Founder and CEO of Maestros Leadership Team. Charles Lipenga is passionate about getting young people involved in life changing projects.

Bright Chidzumeni - Dir. of Leadership & Entrepreneurship

An author, Innopreneur, educationist and the founder of Tecules, My goal is to make education affordable, effective and accessible to all at all levels of education through relevant innovations that are at par with current technology.  I am passionate about youth empowerment, innovation and development.

Dennis Imaan - Dir. of Media & Innovations

A tourism and media entrepreneur passionate about youth empowerment. Founder and Director of Determination Tourism Consultants which works in tourism marketing and consulting, social media.  Founder of Lilongwe TEA, Facilitator of Lilongwe Pitch Night also part of The TEDx Lilongwe Organising Team.  .

Alexander D.C. Mtambo - Exec. Secretary

2016 National Coordinator for Maestros Leadership team in Malawi, 2017 National ambassador of African Union University Club; for the promotion and development of knowledge and the African Union and the pan-Africanism spirit.

Glory Muva - Ambassador

Chairperson and Co-Founder Care For Our Girls Campaign, an initiative under Maestros Leadership International team on a mission to inspire young generation of women to take up the challenge of leadership, creating opportunities for excellent leadership and academics.

Violet Machika - MW National Coordinator

A law student, Malawi’s first female Maestros National coordinator and an award winner of the most Outstanding Social Innovation at Hansen Summer Institute on Leadership and International cooperation (CA,USA). She is the secretary for Care4Girls Campaign and an entrepreneur. She enjoys travelling and the possibility of combining her hobbies with advocacy for quality education.

Michael Wasi - MW Dep. National Coordinator

An Agribusiness Management graduate, an innovator and author. He is also a youth empowerment Maestro, passionate about challenging young people become great assets to their world, by helping them build their value and relevance.

Dr Rumbidzai Mlewah - MAAP Ambassador

A medical doctor(MBBS) at Kamuzu Central Hospital and currently serves as the Alumni MAAP ambassador for Maestros Leadership Team after having served as the first College of Medicine Maestros Chapter Coordinator. She is passionate about changing and improving the health care in Malawi especially in maternal and child health. She believes that as humans we have a lot more good in us than we realize and a lot more than what we give.  

Henry Makowa - MAAP Ambassador

A 2nd Year Bachelor of Surgery student (MBBS) at College of Medicine and the Ambassador of Maestros Academic Armour Project. He is passionate about educations and he beleives that ideas are worthless unless implemented and hence their significance unfolds. He also enjoys playing basketball at his free time. 

Alice DC Chimenya

Alice is the 2017 Ambassador for Maestros Green Project (MaGREEN), an Agriculturist with Bsc in Agriculture. She is an advocate for environmental protection and climate action trained by YALI. A passionate young leader determined in enhancing resilience in flood prone areas through Youth Empowerment. 

Claude Saula - National Coordinator | Kenya

SirClaude Saula is  a young Kenyan philanthropist, passionate about improving lives, through youth motivation and empowerment. Greatly motivated by the SDG goals set by the UN,  seeing to it that they come to fruition,  be creating awareness and engaging all people of all ages, gender and backgrounds
